I am a clinical pharmacist. Despite my extensive formal and informal training in other areas of medicine, I recognize the value of learning a subject and following the recommendations of a clinician with expertise in that field. Therefore, I have invited a team of experts from the various fields discussed on my site to lend their knowledge and support the mission of DrDWellnessAddict.com. Halland Chen, MD
As a physician and tech entrepreneur, Dr. Halland Chen enjoys merging the worlds of medicine, software, and application innovation. Dr. Chen is a physician Double Board Certified in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, specializing in natural ways for patients to heal faster and feel better. His passion is Regenerative Medicine, and he is an expert in longevity, stem cells, anti-aging and non-surgical options for pain relief and repairing injuries. His stem cell clinical work and research includes how stem cell therapies can be used in alleviating pain and regaining function, avoiding surgery when possible, and allowing patients to heal naturally using the body’s own growth factors and repair mechanisms. . His clinical work also focuses on peak performance, life extension and optimizing wellness by reducing inflammation in the body using Regenerative Medicine, Biohacking, and natural supplements. He works closely with high performance clients to address sports injuries and peak performance needs.
Dr. Chen is also involved in several key research studies regarding stem cell technologies and consumer products for anti-aging. He is on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine, whose leadership directors also come from the Harvard Stem Cell Group and the Mayo Clinic. Randy Kostelansky, Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc)
Randy is a Licensed Acupuncturist with a practice in Boston, MA. He graduated from Houston County High School in Warner Robbins, Georgia, attended Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida College of Natural Health, and East West College of Natural Medicine.
Randy has been in practice since 2003, developing a unique skill set that blends acupuncture, massage, cupping, guasha, posture assessment and movement to create a customized and patient-focused treatment plan. Randy’s approach is to identify his patient’s origin of discomfort, maximize performance, reduce recovery time and educate his patients on proactive measures they can do to reduce recurrence.
In 2019, Randy was invited by the The Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA to lecture physicians on the benefits and evidence of acupuncture. It was received so well he was invited back to continue his educational series. The goal is to help integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine into modern medical practice.

Katrina Ray, CNT, RYT
Kat is a Certified Nutritional Therapist currently practicing in Sarasota, Florida. She received her degree from The Health and Sciences Academy in 2014. In addition, she received her yoga teacher and massage therapist certifications by Radiant Light Yoga (2015) and The Aveda Institute (2005), respectively.
Given her expertise in a variety of wellness fields, Kat has been practicing Holistic Health Coaching since 2015. During this time she has developed a unique blend of bodywork, nutrition, and yoga-centered movement recommendations for her clients, grounded in a whole-body approach to health and wellbeing. She begins all client relationships with a personalized nutrition and body analysis to ultimately create a complete custom plan for the individual. Her insightful, devoted approach has resulted in positive results for thousands of her clients initially facing difficult, complicated health challenges. Although she works with those trying to heal from all forms of chronic disease, she specializes in prenatal care and working with families who have children suffering from ADD/ADHD, asthma, and dermatological issues.
In addition to her work with individuals, Kat has reached thousands of others through her work as a public speaker. She’s delivered educational talks at health expos, lead retreats, and taught classes on health and wellness, delivering information that benefits anyone trying to heal. Barbara Leverone, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (GCFP), Master of the Arts in Mental Health Counseling
Barbara received her Feldenkrais certification in 1994 and has been in private practice for almost 25 years. She has also worked continuously as a Child’Space educator and trainer since her 2009 certification. She holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling with advanced training and supervision in Infant Mental Health.
For eight years, she worked with families with pre-term babies, teen-age parents and other at-risk situations through The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County. She received their Mission Award for her work with parents of substance-exposed newborns.
The Feldenkrais Method of Movement Education played a primary role when Barbara was recovering from dance injuries. Founded by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, the Method uses directed attention, touch and movement lessons to change habitual patterns in everyday movement as well as fitness and creative activities. Barbara included the Method as part of the Movement for Actors program she directed for the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory. Today she continues to teach the Feldenkrais Method in her group and private lessons with active adults, as well as traveling internationally as a Child’Space Trainer and serving as Educational Director Brats Club SRQ, a program for families with infants and toddlers.

Kathryn Samai, PharmD, Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Level 1 Reiki Practitioner
Kat is an Ashtangi certified yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance, and a Doctor of Pharmacy specializing in Trauma/Emergency Medicine. She has been committed to health and wellness her entire life. She is passionate about the healing and health benefits that yoga provides as well as learning to live a yogic life through self-reflection, contentment, and authenticity. Her yoga classes incorporate strength, movement, and the breath so that students of all levels can find empowerment, passion, and peace.
She is a disciple of Edwin and Catarina Lacayo from the It’s Yoga and Ashtanga tradition and a certified Level I Reiki Healer. Her practice and teaching is also influenced by Kino McGregor, Laruga Glaser, Kerri Verna and our very own Rosemary Court Yoga instructors that inspire her continually. She believes that every day is a chance to practice yoga on and off of our mats. Only then, can we begin the transformation into our happiest and truest self.

Stephanie Marenna, Licensed Massage Therapist
Stephanie is a licensed massage therapist currently practicing in Boston, MA. She trained at the Cortiva Institute and is also certified in CranioSacral Therapy (CST). Some of her massage therapy specialities include deep tissue, prenatal, Swedish relaxation, aromatherapy, and myofascial release. Recently, she has begun studying and incorporating Reiki into her treatments. Her personal interests include learning new things, hiking, yoga, and live music.

Nick Kotwika, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Adult CPR and AED
Nick is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer with 20+ years in the fitness industry. Nick’s unique approach draws from his experience in martial arts, body weight training, boxing, meditation, and functional modalities to develop a customized and holistic program for his clients.
In 2017, Nick was the US National Kettlebell Champion and he took 4th place at the IUKL World Championships in Seoul, South Korea.
